On the December 7th, St Barths Habitants would have to vote in favour or not in favour of a new Status of Collectivité d’outre Mer (COM) for the Island.

Want will it change for the people of St Barths?
The island would be directly attached to France instead of the island of Guadeloupe and it would give a greater flexibility to the local government for managing local affairs.

What would it change for our visitors?
Not much except in the long run a small visitor’s tax.
